If you do not qualify for legal aid or your matter cannot be accepted, we encourage you to explore free legal resources at TexasLawHelp.org.

If you are eligible to receive free legal help through Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas, there are several ways to apply: by phone, in-person at some clinics, and online. Local offices are also meeting with some applicants in person, but you should call the office nearest you to ask about applying.

If your legal aid application is accepted, you will work directly with various members of our staff, depending on your situation, including attorneys, social workers, and paralegals.

There are a lot of challenges in life that can surprisingly be addressed with legal help. If you are facing eviction, need to file for bankruptcy, are a victim of fraud or abuse, have been denied access to public benefits, or other issues that are impacting your livelihood, you may qualify for legal assistance.
